My functional vessels all reference the pressure of my hand upon a mass of clay. From the initial impression, forms are coiled and later carved to emphasise shifting, faceted reflections of light and shadow.
Some pictured here are enlargements of small pinch-studies, others I developed from that initial impression only to cast a mould of the form to reproduce.
