Kate Butler is American writer, visual artist and educator based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, on Wurundjeri land.
She holds an her MFA and MS in Art History from the Pratt Institute (2019), and a BA in English and Studio Art from the College of Charleston (2014). She has also studied and apprenticed at the Leo Marchutz School of Painting and Drawing, in Aix-en-Provence, France.
She currently teaches ceramics at the Art Room and sculpture and art history at RMIT College of Creative Industries in Melbourne.
